NDIS Parramatta with local provider Youth Living Skills
The NDIS
is the relatively new scheme (introduced in 2016) that help people with various medical conditions and disabilities. People and their families and carers can secure services and supports to enhance their everyday functioning. The NDIS Parramatta ensures that people can access services in a way that empowers clients to have choice and control about their care. NDIS Parramatta offers funding for assistance in three main ways (categories of funding under the scheme):
a) Core supports – Disability support workers to help with basic activities of daily living (e.g. self-care, transport, help to engage in community participation), and some funding for low-risk equipment.
b) Therapeutic supports – Qualified allied health therapists to help you to achieve your goals and augment independence and daily functioning capacity.
c) Capital supports – Funding for assistive technology and equipment, such as car or home modifications.
