NDIS Liverpool area serviced by local provider Youth Living Skills
The NDIS
is the relatively new scheme (introduced in 2016) that people with various medical conditions and disabilities, their families and carers can secure services and supports to enhance their everyday functioning. The NDIS Liverpool ensures that people can access mainstream and community services so that clients have choice and control about how they wish to engage with services. NDIS Liverpool offers funding for assistance in three main ways (categories of funding under the scheme):
a) Core supports – Disability support workers to help with basic activities of daily living (e.g. self-care, transport, help to engage in community participation), and some funding for low-risk equipment
b) Therapeutic supports – Qualified allied health therapists to help you to achieve your goals and augment independence and daily functioning capacity
c) Capital supports – Funding for assistive technology and equipment, such as a car or home modifications

The Speech Therapy Children program and psychology has helped a lot of children and youths in the area. Every year, hundreds of thousands of kids are born in Australia, and naturally some of them will have some difficulties in their development. It is very important to support these kid’s development in their early years, as this is vital to their growth in the future and how they will interact with the world as an adult. NDIS Liverpool aims to help kids with these development issues and support them in the world, in order for them to grow properly and eliminate bad habits and problems that may affect their early years.
